JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Data consolidation & reconciliation
- Consolidate data from sub-ledgers: AP, AR, GL, FA, etc
- Reconcile data across modules to ensure accuracy
- Review unusual journal entries and perform adjusting entries when necessary
2. Financial reporting

Prepare Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement

Prepare Notes to the Financial Statements
-
Conduct basic financial analysis
3. Management reporting
-
Prepare reports as requested by the Board of Directors
-
Analyze fluctuations in costs and revenue
-
Prepare variance analysis reports comparing actuals vs. budget/plan
-
Propose solutions to improve financial performance
4. Tax declaration & finalization
-
Prepare tax filings: VAT, PIT, CIT, foreign contractor tax, property tax
-
Submit periodic tax returns and annual tax finalization reports
-
Liaise with tax authorities when required
-
Prepare related party transaction reports
5. Coordination with third parties
-
Prepare documents, supporting files, and explanations for audit requirements
-
Follow up and implement audit recommendations
-
Work with banks on credit limit facilities
-
Coordinate bank guarantee procedures
-
Manage accounts payable with SAP (monitoring, reconciliation, and payment)
6. Budget & cash flow management

Participate in budgeting and financial planning
-
Monitor budget execution
-
Prepare cash flow reports and forecasts
7. Accounting records management

Organize and archive accounting documents in compliance with regulations

Manage accounting books and records
-
Ensure the safety and confidentiality of financial information
8. Training & professional development

Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations

Participate in internal and external training programs
-
Support and guide sub-ledger accountants when needed
9. Contract review & process improvement
-
Review contracts and financial-related documents
-
Participate in building and improving accounting processes
-
Propose improvements to enhance workflow efficiency
10. Other duties

Perform tasks assigned by the Chief Accountant
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (preference given to candidates with Good/Excellent academic performance)

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
- Strong understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and the Law on Accounting

Solid knowledge of tax regulations (VAT, CIT, PIT)

Good understanding of audit processes; knowledge of credit, bank guarantees, and accounts payable management

Proactively stay updated with the latest accounting and tax regulations
-
Good knowledge of legal regulations related to contracts
Preferred qualifications:
-
Experience working with SAP ERP systems
-
Professional certifications such as: Practicing Certificate in Accounting, Chief Accountant Certificate, or DipIFR (Diploma in International Financial Reporting)
