Cubable are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mid. Back-End Developer to help us scale and support our growing platform. You’ll be joining the team powering everything happening behind the scenes.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers regarding progress on long-term technology roadmap.
- Createandmaintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and to ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs.
- Develop and oversee testing schedules in client server environment, addressing various browsers and devices to ensure that content is displayed as intended.
- Produce quality code, raising the bar for team performance and speed.
- Recommendsystems solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom
development and purchased alternatives.
YOUR JOB WILL BE
- Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and profile and analyze bottlenecks.
- Designrobust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients.
- Manageandoptimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud.
- Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
- Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing.
YOU ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE
- Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms.
- Experience in writing highly secure web applications.
- Experience with JS/NodeJS based framework: Express, Nest, etc.
- Experience with Unix systems.
- Experience with database management and optimization: MySQL, MongoDB,etc.
- Experience with caching systems: Redis, Memcached, etc.
- Experience with messaging systems: RabbitMQ, BullMQ, Kafka, etc.
- Growthmindset that challenges the status quo and focuses on outside-the-box ideas and solutions.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science.
- Experience in designing RESTful APIs, specifically for mobile apps.
- Experience in leading a team.
- Experience microservices architecture/principle.
