TECHNICAL CONSULTANT (ABAP)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Understand functional design requirements and convert them into technical design specifications.
• ABAP Programming: Work on complex ABAP programming, testing, and debugging functions related to SAP module implementation.
• Collaborate with SAP consultants and business analysts to develop ABAP programs that meet defined business requirements.
• Application Development and Modification: Code, test, analyze, and implement new applications, as well as make changes to existing applications.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test conditions, test plans, and test data.
• Provide technical support for SAP ABAP applications, promptly identifying and resolving issues, which includes in-depth debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP code.
• Work with SAP Public Cloud environments, ensuring compatibility, scalability, and security adherence.
• Develop and manage SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) extensions and integrations.
• Leverage SAP Fiori and UI5 for application development within the SAP Public Cloud ecosystem.
• Implement SAP Public Cloud best practices in performance optimization, security, and compliance.
• Utilize SAP API Management and Event Mesh for efficient integration strategies.
• Support SAP system upgrades, migrations, and apply relevant SAP support notes.

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP.
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).
• Familiarity with SAP modules and a deep understanding of various business processes.
• Prior experience in system integration through middleware solutions, such as SAP PI/ SCPI, is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of HANA development and Fiori programming.
• Experience with SAP Public Cloud, including SAP BTP, SAP API Management, and Event Mesh.
• Understanding of SAP Public Cloud security, compliance, and best practices.
• Experience with SAP system upgrades and applying support notes is a plus.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven capability to work independently, handle problem-solving tasks, and manage work-related pressure.
• Experience in SAP customer support is advantageous.
• English: TOEIC 650 (4 skills) / IELTS 6.0 or equivalent qualifications.
