SAP ERP Training and Testing at Hai Nam Seafood Company

Citek has partnered with Hai Nam Seafood Company to implement SAP ERP training and testing solutions aimed at enhancing business management and operational efficiency. The project encompasses several key modules, including MM, WM, SD, PP, QM, FI, and CO, along with the integration of fresh material procurement through electronic scales and barcode scanners.

Solution Build Phase and Data Preparation:
Once the solution build phase was completed, Citek developed the SAP ERP system according to the processes and solutions that had been agreed upon. Simultaneously, Hai Nam’s key users gathered and cleansed master data to prepare for subsequent SAP ERP training, SAP ERP testing, and system conversion.

In November 2016, Citek conducted SAP ERP training for Hai Nam’s key users with the following objectives:

• Understand the organizational model in SAP ERP

• Master business processes for each module

• Apply business solutions in real-world scenarios using SAP ERP

The SAP ERP training content included an overview of the system, detailed training on each module (MM, WM, SD, PP, QM, FI, CO), and hands-on practice with sample data to simulate real-life business situations.

SAP ERP Testing:
After completing the SAP ERP training, key users conducted SAP ERP testing using two approaches:

• Independent module testing based on specific business scenarios

• Integrated cross-module testing to ensure seamless and consistent system operation

The main objective of SAP ERP testing was to validate the accuracy of business processes, check the system’s integrity and integration, and identify and correct any issues.

End-User Training:
After completing SAP ERP training and testing, key users organized end-user training sessions for each module. These sessions covered an overview of SAP ERP, detailed training on business processes, hands-on practice with real data, and guidance on handling common scenarios.
