On May 11, 2026, Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (HOSE: DBD) and Citek officially launched a digital transformation project with a comprehensive scope, including the transformation of its enterprise management system to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud, CSV implementation in compliance with EU-GMP standards, IFRS adoption, QR Code application, and the development of a Data Warehouse & BI platform.
The project marks a strategic step forward for Bidiphar in its journey to enhance management capabilities and build a sustainable foundation for the next stage of growth. Rather than implementing improvements across separate systems, Bidiphar has chosen to invest in a comprehensive solution suite aimed at standardizing its enterprise-wide operations in alignment with international standards for the pharmaceutical industry.
“This project is not only a transformation in management platforms and technology, but also a step toward improving operational efficiency, enhancing transparency, and meeting international compliance requirements. It is a key project for Bidiphar, as well as a significant milestone in corporate governance development in Gia Lai.”

Bidiphar is one of the pioneering pharmaceutical companies in Vietnam to have implemented SAP ERP since 2014. After more than a decade of operation, Bidiphar continues to invest in upgrading to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud — SAP’s next-generation ERP solution. SAP is a leading global technology corporation from Germany, with more than 50 years of experience in enterprise management software. Today, SAP SAP is used by more than 400,000 enterprises worldwide, including many multinational pharmaceutical and manufacturing corporations listed in the Fortune Global 500.
Bidiphar – Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical is a trusted and leading company in the pharmaceutical industry, with 44 years of experience in pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.
The transition to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud is not only a technology upgrade, but also a foundation for standardizing operational processes based on SAP Best Practices and establishing a unified data source across the enterprise — a Single Source of Truth.
In its role as the consulting and implementation partner, Citek works alongside Bidiphar throughout the journey — from assessing the operating model and standardizing management processes to building a system architecture that meets the specific requirements of the pharmaceutical industry in line with global standards. All financial, procurement, production, warehouse, quality, and sales data are integrated into a single unified platform, reducing data fragmentation, strengthening collaboration across departments, and enabling more effective decision-making.
Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Huong, General Director of Bidiphar, and Mr. Nguyen Cong Tan, General Director of Citek, signed the cooperation agreement.
One of the key highlights of the project is the implementation of SAP with a strong focus on CSV Compliance (Computer System Validation), designed to meet EU-GMP requirements — one of the most rigorous standards of control in the pharmaceutical industry. Through this, Bidiphar can enhance its capabilities in data governance, traceability, and change management, while improving its readiness for international inspections and assessments.
At the same time, Bidiphar is implementing an accounting system aligned with both International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), accompanied by audit consulting firms from the Big Four. The adoption of IFRS not only strengthens financial transparency, but also provides a solid foundation for Bidiphar to better access investors, strategic partners, and global capital markets.
Leaders and project team members from Bidiphar and Citek, together with SAP representatives, congratulated the successful kick-off of the project.
The project also includes the development of a Data Warehouse platform, a Business Intelligence (BI) management reporting system, QR Code implementation, and the gradual application of AI in business operations and corporate management. Under this new direction, the Data Warehouse will not only serve as a data storage platform, but also become a foundation for AI, intelligent analytics, and real-time business management. With a centralized data platform, Bidiphar aims to move toward a data-driven management model, enhance forecasting capabilities, and accelerate decision-making in an increasingly competitive pharmaceutical market.
“In the context of a pharmaceutical industry that increasingly emphasizes management capabilities and compliance with international standards, Bidiphar’s simultaneous investment in ERP, data governance, and international compliance demonstrates its long-term vision and strong commitment to transformation. This project will help establish an important foundation for sustainable growth over the next 10 to 20 years. Citek is committed to working closely with Bidiphar and its partners to implement the project effectively, supporting Bidiphar’s strategic objectives in operations, governance, and long-term development.”
